TASTING NOTES: Bright and luminous ruby red hues in the glass lead to delicate aromas of red fruit, fresh strawberries and plum, and a touch of exotic spice on the nose. The palate is fully of juicy, elegant fruit, silky tannins and a balanced structure. The result is an honest, persistent Malbec with a lingering finish.
HISTORY: Malbec is a French varietal, also known as Cot or Auxerrois. It is typically found in the appellation of Cahors, but it is also used in Bordeaux.
Altos las hormigas is known as the Malbec Specialist.

ORIGIN: A.O.C. Bordeaux.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20% and Cabernet Franc 10%.
AGING: French Oak for 10 - 12 months.
TASTING NOTES: Deep colour with crimson tints. Brimming with black fruits flavours (black berry, black cherry), red fruits (cassis, crushed strawberry and liquorice. Mineral, spicy and toasty. Full-bodied, mouth-filling texture, with ripe and toasty tannins on the long finish.
PAIRING SUGESTION: with white and red grilled meat and game. Also well suited for pasta (red sauces) and cheese.
LIMITED PRODUCTION: 260.000 Bottles.

Colonia las Liebres Bonarda Argentina Wine
TERROIR & SOIL STRUCTURE: 100% Bonarda Argentina grapes come from high-trellised vineyards located in a unique microclimate in the area of Medrano and Carrizal de Abajo, Mendoza. This area sits slightly higher than the neighboring vineyards to the north, at 800 m. The low fertility soils help control vigor, and the deep soils with good drainage facilitate root development.
WINEMAKING: Vinified in 300hl stainless steel tanks with temperature control for a duration of 10 days from crushing to pressing, with daily rack-and-return for a gentle extraction. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation, receiving no oak treatment in order to preserve freshness and to represent a pure expression of the grape.

Intense and elegant nose with predominance of strawberries and flowery hints that all together makes this Pinot Noir a very lively, harmonious and generous wine. In the palate is clean, well balanced, with soft rounded tannins and a good level of acidity. The wine is lengthy in the mouth showing a well integrated and balanced oak. Due to the very intense microbiologic control this wine is very lightly filtered, what makes the aromas and color very expressive of Pinot Noir.

ORIGIN: Colchagua Valley.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: Merlot 85% & Cabernet Sauvignon 15%.
AGING: 40% of the wine is kept for 8 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: Nice, deep ruby-red color. The nose offers plenty of fresh red fruit, such as strawberries and cherries, along with lactic notes such as caramel, yogurt and toffee. The use of oak is well balanced with the fruit. The palate features soft, round tannins and prominent lactic notes leading to a long and pleasing finish.
PAIRING SUGESTION: Highly recommended with chicken with mushroom sauce and baked potatoes, meat and vegetable soup, corn meat pie, humitas (Chilean Tamales), lasagna.

TASTING NOTES: Lively and generous deep rich red color. Well-structured, rounded and bold, this wine provides a robust mouth-filling sensation. The wine is layered with black cherry, cedar, plums. spice, and hints of very subtle and delicate toastiness. Long in the mid-palate with rich and flavorful tannins. A fruit forward and rich wine.
PAIRING SUGESTION: Ideal pairing with roast pork belly, ratatouille, leg of lamb, chicken with mole and aged cheeses.

Pintia - Vega Sicilia WINE SPAIN
ORIGIN: D.O. Toro.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Tinta de Toro “Tempranillo”.
AGING: French Oak for 12 months.
TASTING NOTES: Deep cherry red with pronounced violet undertones. Explosion of very pure fruits, although 100% new barrels the oak is not predominant. From start it is very expressive and enjoyable.

HISTORY: In 1995 and 1996 the Alvarez family, owners of Vega Sicilia began to think of a new winery . Not far from the Ribera del Duero (about 100 km), there is Toro. Another famous wine producing region in Spain.
They thought they could be a challenge to develop a project there , an area not very fashionable in those years but with great potential. The early years were devoted to the study to produce a wine that kept the prestige of the firm.
After the first four vintages (1997-2000) , they realized that they had to preserve, protect and remove anything that will make an elegant wine Pintia within austerity conferring region. This is the philosophy that defines Pintia .
The vineyards are unique and have an average age of between 40 and 60.
The result: a modern Toresano , which seeks to reward the fruit in keeping with the character of their terroir .

ORIGIN: D.O. Ca. Rioja, Spain.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 95% Tempranillo blended with 5% of Mazuelo.
AGING: It was aged for 20 months in French (40% brand new and 35% two-year-old barrels) and Caucasian (25%) oak in order to preserve and highlight the fruity character.
TASTING NOTES: Medium-high intensity, cherry-red with a garnet-red rim. Clean and bright. Intense nose. Very fruity, with aromas of forest berries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries, enveloping the notes of painstaking barrel ageing. This leads to toasty notes of bakery, mocha, tobacco and Lebanon cedar. In the mouth it is well-balanced with a pleasant acidity, and firm, polished tannins that provide structure and reaffirm its balance. Its time in the bottle provides an attractive final roundness.
PAIRING SUGESTION: The perfect match to all kinds of stews, casseroles and meat-based recipes. Also ideal with spicy sauces and medium-aged cheeses.
